National HIV Testing Mobilization Campaign
Increase the number of people who get tested for HIV;
Promote local, community-level discussions about HIV-related stigma and risk
behaviors and increase the number of people engaged in these discussions; and
Increase the number of new partnerships and collaborations addressing HIV/AIDS
while maintaining existing relationships.
State of the Art contributed:
video and radio PSAs in English and Spanish for the Latino Commission on AIDS
youth-oriented PSAs for the National Association of People with AIDS
faith-oriented PSAs for the Balm in Gilead, and
a local community-oriented PSA for the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation in New Jersey.
This campain is on-going. Some outcomes to date are:
community groups have placed PSAs with TV and Radio broadcasters nationwide
PSAs were placed on organization websites and on YouTube
HHS offered all the materials as free downloads on their website www.aids.gov
