The Brain and Reading professional development series for educators uses interviews with leading neuroscientists and reading experts to explain the latest neurological evidence for reading problems and how these discoveries can help to inform classroom practice. Classroom scenes in elementary, middle, and high schools illustrate strategies to promote reading fluency and comprehension. This program shows how strategies engage studentsí cognitive processes before, during, and after reading and help students of all ages become skilled readers.
